JavaScript Job: Netsuite Developer

We are seeking a talented Netsuite Developer to join our team on a part-time, as needed, contract basis. The position is 100% remote and an terrific side gig. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and customizing Netsuite solutions, with a focus on inventory, supply chain modules, and manufacturing functionalities to meet the specific needs of our clients in the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities:

Netsuite Development: Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within Netsuite, with a focus on inventory management, supply chain operations, and manufacturing workflows.

Customization and Scripting: Utilize SuiteScript (JavaScript-based scripting language) to customize Netsuite functionalities, including Suitelets, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and Client Scripts.

Integration Development: Develop and maintain integrations between Netsuite and external systems using SuiteTalk (Netsuite's SOAP-based web services), RESTlets, and other integration tools.

Data Migration and Management: Assist in data migration efforts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data transferred into Netsuite. Implement data management processes to maintain data quality over time.

System Optimization: Continuously optimize Netsuite configurations and processes to improve system performance, scalability, and user experience.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Netsuite customizations, integrations, and development projects.

Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and support implementation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Netsuite Developer, with a focus on inventory, supply chain, and manufacturing modules.
• Proficiency in SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics.
• Experience with SuiteTalk and RESTful web services for Netsuite integrations.
• Strong understanding of Netsuite data model, workflows, and business processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Netsuite.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
